I don't remember them saying that "Steve" was making "Sherry" pay. But it would make since they were together cause Wesker had both of them, right? They could have totally been bunk mates.
I smell I cheesy sitcom coming

well see thats why im saying its most likely not steve. because if they were together for so long, its doubtful that he would charge her. but in the trailer, he is telling his pricing. i also doubt that its Alex. because when Project W happened, it was done in the 60's, and all of the candidates were taken roughly at the same time. for that to be him, whether or not he really does have "the secret to immortality", he would be to old to fit the physical characteristics of Mystery baldy man person guy. now, we dont know exactly what this "secret" does, so it is plausible to be him. but im putting my money down that its not. now if Wekser really did revive Steve, then i could see it working. but then again, he would have the same "Prototype" virus as Wesker in him. which i dont think the world is going to want. i honestly cant think of why the world would want his blood, but if he keeps needing injections then im doubting its something good. unless the injections are to keep him healthy, like steroids or something along those lines. unless they have eliminated the use of herbs in the game now and injections are what is used to heal you now.
EDIT-- i got a slower glimpse of the newspaper headline i was referring to earlier. it says "President Adams" on it. so if thats the case, then the blonde is highly doubtful to be Ashley. obviously because of the name difference. it would also make sense that her father wouldnt be in office anymore either because of the time frame. his time in office would be up, assuming he didnt get re-elected.
SECOND EDIT-- i found this on another site, and this person actually has a valid point. "We’ didn’t see the corpse or anything, but we’re pretty sure Wesker drowned in volcano lava after being hit in the face with rockets. That being the case, it’s suspicious hearing talk of Chris having a new vendetta. Could a ghost of Umbrella past be in play here? Has Wesker somehow dodged death one more time? However, that's assuming that Resident Evil 6 takes place after Resident Evil 5. RE 5 takes place in 2008, and Capcom says RE 6 takes place 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, which puts it in 2008. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that would mean Wesker is still alive in this game." so if thats the case, it could have happened before 5, in which case Wesker still lives. im doubting it, as far as numerical order goes being my main reason, but its still possible. if anything it could be a before, during, and after thing. the during 5 part may happen after Chris leaves china, you take over as someone else, and then boom your chris again.
