When I saw the trailer for MGS5 I was a bit "meh" but this peace walker game does look pretty good but I hear David Hayter isnt voicing Snake. what the hell is that!?

A lot of people seem to think that the narrator is Richard Doyle, the guy who voices Big Boss in MGS4.
Even though they were both in a sense the same "Old Snake" I don't see why Hayter didn't do his voice in 4. It kinda ruined the moment.

Any one know any thing about Metal Gear Rising? Besides cyborg Radian? Provided that Snake isn't in it Raiden did 2 significant things between 2 and 4. -Rescued Sunny from the Patriots in Area 51 -Went on a Quest to find the body of Big Boss in return for the info on Sunny (again from the patriots) He became a cyborg after he was done rescuing Sunny and it was the result of a failed mission to find Big Boss. They captured him and basicly did a Grey Fox on him. oh and.. www.gametrailers.com/video/tgs-09-metal-gear/56487new Peace Walker trailer

Awesome!!! But I can't play it I guess I have just found the only flaw to having a custom firmware. SHIT it's going to be a nightmare getting it back to an official one, I don't even know if I even have my magic battery anymore.

Nevermind I got it working and it kicks ass. The controls are so bizarre but they are a lot easier on the fingers, the buttons are the d-pad and the d-pad is the buttons which is the complete opposite to the last one. -_-
Crazy Japanese and their thinking outside of the box.

blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/16/new-limited-edition-metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-psp-entertainment-pack/Hideo Kojima‘s Continuation of the Best-Selling Metal Gear Solid Series Comes With adhoc Party Mode Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today confirmed that METAL GEAR SOLID®: PEACE WALKER, Hideo Kojima‘s next installment in the METAL GEAR SOLID series, will arrive in North America on June 8th, 2010. Series creator Hideo Kojima has crafted METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER as the next true chapter in the story of legendary special ops expert, Snake (AKA Big Boss), and acts as a direct sequel to the previously released METAL GEAR SOLID 3: SNAKE EATER. Developed specifically for the PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) system, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER is set in 1974 towards the end of the cold war and boasts an all-new story penned by Hideo Kojima. Taking full advantage of the PSP™ format, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER takes the series in an exciting new direction with incredible visuals, as it sheds new light on well-known adversaries and allies, along with a wealth of new characters. In true METAL GEAR SOLID tradition, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER drops the player into a series of hostile scenarios, as a terrible plan for world domination is revealed. METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER will be available for PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) and PSP®go and will support the new adhoc Party mode, which connects PSP systems via a PLAYSTATION®3 unit, allowing players to use the game‘s multiplayer mode online. The famous Metal Gear series is considered as a benchmark stealth series, which sold more than 27.7m copies (as of December 2009) worldwide since its debut in 1987. METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER boasts stunning visuals, remarkable enemy AI, and a fresh, exciting plot that will delight and surprise. In addition to solo operations, players can team up via the game‘s the multi-player CO-OPS (CO-operative OPerationS) mode. This extends to key gameplay advances, with players administering medical help to colleagues, sharing munitions, or providing cover for each other using the Snake formation to cover each other‘s blind spots. ”The METAL GEAR SOLID series is heading into exciting new areas, and METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER unites the series‘ key gameplay elements with even more tactical possibilities,“ enthused Hideo Kojima, Head of Kojima Productions and creator of the Metal Gear Solid series. ”We look forward to recruiting PSP users to Snake‘s latest mission, as the Metal Gear Solid series returns in a guise that will constantly surprise the player.“ METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER will be released exclusively for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system and PSP®go in North America on June 8th, 2010 at an SRP of $39.99.
