You all know me, or...should at least, and you know I show up and post maybe like once or twice, then dissapear for a month. I hate doing that...but I hate making false promises that I'll post more often. The truth is, the reason I don't post that much is...the place isn't as thriving as it used to be. I hate to say it like that...but the place feels like a ghost town at most, 155 total users? I'm guessing the total dropped after a bunch were deleted...cause I'm sure it used to be higher.
I know Tanner's proud of this site and you guys are a major factor in my life, I just don't know if everyone has moved on to a different location or if this is the local hideout everyone comes to to post on occassion anymore. Me, what I'm doing every day online...is spending time on Facebook, Xbox360Achievements.org's forums, the GameFAQs forums and Bleach.Wikia.com. I wonder...what are you guys doing now?
It seems like the home you can always return to and leave a message, cause someone will always check in on it to see what happens. This site will always be there for me...I check in from time to time...and I'd love to frequent, but...checking every few hours just to see if it's alive is more of a task than an joy T_T...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Most of us were just kids when we started coming here, and I guess we're all just kinda growing up. Hell, I was in seventh grade when we first created the old site, and now I'm moving into my own apartment.

Yeah, I'm here in my own place as well. I guess it was something for us as younger people took pride in, just spending our time here...talking to one another. We've all grown out of it, most of the major players are gone now...

Sadly that is reality. Eventually we all find our own things that we love and enjoy, and move more towards those. Not saying that UIF isnt anything anymore, but I agree that it isnt what it used to be. I'm gratefull I met half of you, truly.
As for what I'm up to, just been on my break from college. Return in september, should be doing music, and taking a Japanese language course.

It's just one rather large chapter of life coming to an end. It was a lot of fun.

Doing my job and planning a few others in the future. Goal is to collect as much cash as possible without having to deal with the boring day to day BS of everyday life that we all know and hate. If I manage to reach said goal then I'll be able to remain the arrogant spiteful little eccentric that is posting today who died at the ripe old age of forty as a bitter old hermit who got fed up with life then decided to bear hunting with a pistol. Heh.... In another decade I'll be able to scream "I'm a thirty-something year old boy! You can't make me grow up dammit!" at someone. If I fail to reach this goal it means either one of two things:
1) I found someone who is actually special and chucked my childish goal to the trash bin. 2) Some third world fuckhead killed me.
Heh.... Guess I'll be sticking around this place until it disappears.... I think I'll just blame it's problems on online gaming... That's what I blame everything else on....

well, I'm still looking for a job.kinda sucks that I can't find any right now. You're in the same boat as the majority of americans right now. I've been applying every week for the past 2 1/2 years and haven't found anything. All you can do is keep trying, or wait until you can get an Associate's Degree to up your chances.

I guess because Tanner saw the Rebecca avatar on L2K's profile he assumed it was me lol
I'm still a giant RE fan and will always be. I try and play through one game every month and I'm still looking to make my collection of Biohazard items bigger and bigger.
I guess the reason that most of us can't quit on the site and the games is because we all still have that little part of us that remembers.....I remember waking up early in the morning right before school started to hop onto old UIF with Tanner, Holly, Corey, and whoever was there at the time. I remember itching my head for new RE related topics to post. I remember anxiously waiting for a graphic I request to be made. I especially remember the Roleplaying which really has had a big impact on why I love to write so much these days.
Tanner is right...we were kids. We were all around the same age. Hell, I'm turning 20 this November.
I know I'm one of the ones that will post once a month and then leave for another but I'm still not ready to give up.
Yeah, I know we've had a good run but hell! Let's make it a great run!
I love this place and the people here so even if I get older and I'm busy I will always find a way to post.
