This short little story is based off the song by Red Solevin called 'Teddy Bear' warning its sad
As the funneral service wrapped up for the little boy who had been fighting bone cancer. His mother watching his casket was
put into the herse. She mustard a little bit of comfort from the fact her son had befreinded many of the local truckers, who woould
come and visit him, and who when they all found out about her son, they collected enough between them all, to pay for the funeral, which lifted
a heavy burden off the single working mother. As they closed the door of the hearse and she walked to the car of her friend, she wished that
truckers could be there, to say good bye to there little friend. She sat in the car and rode as the funneral persession headed out of town
to the cemetary. As the persession made it waytot he edge of town she looked into the distance to see the bright shimmering of chrome. There
standing on the side of the road with a long line of semi's behind where the truckers, in there very best. They stood there with hats over there hearts
waiting for half the persession to go by before they all climbed into there trucks and followed behind making the tail of the persession. The woman started
to cry in happiness. As the perssesion made it to the cemetary, the cemetary was incircled by a line of Semi's. The truckers circled the small little grave.
They paid there respects and said there good byes to there little friend 'Teddy Bear'. As they left they gave the boys mother a hug. She hugged them tight and
could never rememeber a time when she had seen so many grown men cry. Slowly one by one the Semi's left giving a short blast of there air horns as a last respect
to Teddy Bear.
